You appear to have damaged your English comprehension skills in the accident. What happened exactly?
Bike looks not too bad, but any damage is pretty gutting. Forks look twisted in the yolks, loosen off the clamps and they should pop back straight again. |
thanks man , yeah little shaken up still and im a bad speller but i do my best thing is i wanted to get up and shake the pain away but they wouldnt let me move , hard to type with a busted hand XD my first ever off i was more pissed off with the bike being trashed i kept it in mint condition . ____________________ owned bikes: DR50, Thumpsta 110 , Honda CR85, Speedfight 100, Yamaha XT125X, Honda CRF450, Honda Hornet '07

well the police said if i dont do the course i got to go court for dangerous driving and 3 points and £60 quid fine , i would rather do the course. |
Don't let the cops bully you into accepting the course, they want you to make their job easier.
Firstly, it is very unlikely they would obtain a conviction for dangerous driving, but in any case a dangerous driving conviction is considerably more than 3 points and 60 quid.
They probably meant careless driving which is the lesser offence although easier to prove still requires decent evidence.
The burden of proof is on the Police to prove that you were either exceeding the speed limit or your speed was excessive for the conditions, and unless your riding was witnessed by a traffic cop immidiately prior to the crash who is allowed to give expert evidence of opinion.
Unless the Police carried out a full accident investigation (which is unlikely unless there was a fatality) then they will have no evidence of excess speed, and although witnesses may have stated that "You appeared" to be travelling quickly or fast, that initself is insufficient.
So, you are well within your rights to decline the improver course and ask them on what grounds and what evidence they propose to disclose, and then plead not guilty.
If they do not have the evidence, then they cannot act as judge and jury and decide that you will attend a course without you knowing what the evidence is as attending the course is virtually an admission of your guilt which can be used against you and you still end up with a fine (the cost of the course) albeit you don't get any points. ____________________ It is better to arrive 30 seconds late in this world, than 30 years early in the next |

You can always change your mind. It largely depends on what you were daft enough to admit to, or rather what the police can credibly convince a court that you admitted to.
I guess you know it now, but never admit to any offence at the time - there's plenty of opportunity to plead guilty if you are prosecuted - and think twice, and then again for luck, before making any statement about what happened, even if you think it might help you.
However, since this happened because you demonstrably were riding too fast for either the conditions or your judgement (or both) then I say all this with the strong suspicion that you were in fact riding like a nobber and would probably benefit from a course in how to avoid killing yourself and smashing up other people's vehicles. ____________________ Biking is 1/20th as dangerous as horse riding.
