Google + logic says: 35mm OD, 17mm ID, although I'd probably go for a "large" 17mm. Information is for entertainment purposes only, warranty void where prohibited.
At the risk of bringing the Wrath of Tef, I'd suggest having a look at the carbs and seeing if you can find an easy way to restrict the throttle opening. Adjust to achieve 95mph, optionally dyno[1] and/or stamp "25kW" on a bit of tin and stick it to the engine.
Aside, why a 400 rather than a 600?
[1] I think that's a waste of money given dynomaths. If you're determined to pay for a dyno printout as "proof" of restriction to give to your insurer or wave at plod then just tell the local dynoguy that you want one saying 25kW *wink* *wink*, and ask how much that'll be. It won't be the first time he's been asked, and it will prove exactly as much about the actual power of the bike as any other bit of paper. Or just print your own, for exactly the same reason. ____________________ Biking is 1/20th as dangerous as horse riding.

Aikman666 sent me some for free to fit to my ex girlfriends bike. I'll see if I can get them back to send on, as she's ''too good at riding to be restricted''
For the record, the ID hole isn't round. ____________________ Blue_SV650S wrote: it was a sh1te wheelie, but it proves that he can get it up in 3rd and can do angles. In summery, mattsprattuk is a gobby little sh1tebag, dopehead tw4t, but sadly for all of us, he probably isn't THAT full of sh1te!!

the cbr400 isnt a million miles from the CB-1
https://www.hondacb1.org/forum/index.php/topic,1308.0.html
I think it may have been a tad more powerful than the cb-1 so kind of makes sense that the quoted 17mm above is a little smaller for the cbr
Have you considered a cb-1? should be a bit cheaper than a cbr and a nice bike to ride. I may well have one for sale in the new year with the restrictors pictured above fitted, let me know if you might be interested |
