I'm another one in the "car drivers corner" on this one.

Way too close to the traffic for me, don't really see a problem with the speed though. A louder set of exhausts wouldn't go a miss either if that's the speed he filters at.

The car drivers' not used his mirrors, but I'm at the point now where I assume no one does....

There was no need to filter, the traffic was still moving at a decent pace, the bike rider accelerated hard and was overtaking, to fast, filtering is passing cars at only a couple of miles quicker to make steady progress.

Jamie the bike rider was at fault 100% poor observation, to much of a hurry, and to close to passing cars.

Im 20/80 for the car.
I reckon the was ample time to swerve also, and you should have been expecting it anyway. Going slightly to fast really aswell.

I would have taken that a fair amount wider than that, in that circumstance.

Never mind, you are okay which is the main thing, and learnt from your mistakes.

I've been in a filtering accident, it really is not nice, its not the crash (although was in a lot of pain, barley walk for a month), its the insurance fight afterwards!
