If you are on about an SRAD 600, dont bother, just go for the 750 instead, more mid range and easier to ride than the 600. Plus the fact that arguably you wont ever need another bike, i've scratched, pootled, toured two up with luggage and smashed one to pieces after 2 years on trackdays. I would happlily take anyone on, on a WX, well sorted SRAD, they handle and go enough to embarras bigger, newer bikes and like i said you may never want another bike. I would have one again (in fact i nearly brought my brother's one) but i am undergoing a long term love affair with my '98 blade, we have been together now for 5 years, and have decided to give it a new front end from a CBR1000 RR4/5, if it will fit. BUY A 750 SRAD, YOU WILL NOT BE DISSAPOINTED. Its £1400 well spent. ____________________ M.O.B. Successfully taking the piss since 2014. |

I went from no bike, doing just my test to a CBR600 and I'm fine! ____________________ Willson - "If you go out on that CBR600 in the winter, you're going to do more miles on your side than on your wheels."

I flew in a 747 before flying a Cessna and I'm still alive
Seriously though power of the bike is irrelevant provided you have two brain cells to bang together, had a sneak ride of Bandit 1200 before going off and buying my 600 felt no different riding either of the two in terms of danger to myself only reason got the 6 was economic. ____________________ Current: 02 FZS 1000 & 91 Royal Enfield Bullet 350 Some Bike Pics...

Like everyone else has said, easy on the right wrist until you get used to it and you should be okay. They don't start pulling fast until you go ver 7000rpm so change up before then for a while before you start even thinking about opening up the taps ____________________ 899 Panigale, K7 GSXR 750 |
