 |
|
Still looking around for a winter hack and/or something to have a bit of cheap fun with, while Big Z is being fettled, and a CB350S has come to my attention.
Looks to me like a Super Dream in drag, but is it really that simple, or are there special things I should be worried about, like inherent and incurable faults, or particular parts availability problems?
As always, any input would be appreciated ____________________ Things get better with age; I'm close to being magnificent........

Thanks for that Andy.
I thought it must have it's base in the SD, but I never understood why they didn't make it a 400, they could've only stopped making that lump a couple of years before.
It seems that between Wemoto and David Silver, everything you could possibly want to rebuild the brakes is available (although the discs are farking dear) and the bike I'm looking at already has a Motad.
Not too fussed about the performance, I'm not exactly a speed demon and it's only going to get thrashed to work everyday, probably won't do 100 miles a week. ____________________ Things get better with age; I'm close to being magnificent........

Ive just sold mine last week, Got £400 for it which is pretty reasonable tbh. Great bike, as andy said, they're not particularly quick but are reliable and comfy as foooook in comparison to my sv!
BTW, its a well known fact that the white ones are faster/better in every single way ____________________ First bike: 1982 Suzuki Gs 125 'The beast MK1' > 1988 Honda Cb 350's' FOR SPORT! (Good ol' oil burner!) > 2001 Suzuki Sv 650 's' Made it out of the 80's! > 1997 Honda Cbr 600f :p |
