See if you had the book of face you would already know Wink

Failed at fixing shed roof, had to move all bikes out only to find out that the new "standard" ridge tiles didn't fit Rolling Eyes so tarped the gaps over with some bits of old gazebo and moved all the bikes back in!

Hopefully going to collect enough corrugated sheeting to fit a complete new roof tomorrow.......

Not been for a proper ride in a while - but done about 10 miles yesterday along some country roads, opened up the taps a bit, then forgot that the corners are stupidly sharp Laughing Good fun.

hmm. i did more than normal today :/

changed the oil in the xt125x and gave the bike a clean up.

realized i didnt like the back Renthal bars on the CRF450 so went on the webby and ordered some red Rental bars Very Happy also while i was on the webby got a new battery for the xt125x as mine is phucked. then also ended up buying some Showa fork stickers and 2 pairs of Alpinestars socks.

And after all that took the xt125x out for a spin as wasn't that cold.

Cant wait for my goodies to arrive Twisted Evil Twisted Evil Twisted Evil

Dug more of the back garden out and stuck some more flagstones down for ramp. Got measurements off grr so need to cement a bit.

Stuck hinges on and made gates in the back fence to get bike in. One side is being a right pain and will need hacksaw due to idiotic nail placement. Fitted one of the 2 locks on the gates . Still a bit to do for Saturday.

That's it really....

Cleaned and lubed the chain.

Went for a 20 odd mile ride.
Dodged a load of petrol, that seems to be absolutely everywhere when the roads are even the slightest bit damp.

Just got off the phone from Siim Kallas. I wanted to know his opinion on the use and mandatory enforcement of ABS and the application of leg and chest airbags on motorbikes!

Had the chain off for the last few days - gave it a damn good clean and bled the front brake. Then went for a ride while the rain had subsided. Both chain and brake doing what the should Thumbs Up

Can't wait for winter to be over. I'm too cautious in this weather.

I looked at my bike briefly and cringed at how crudded up the rear end and brake caliper looked as I found space in the garage for a crate of beer. Commuting turns it from a toy into a tool, I VERY rarely ride it for fun.

As someone else said, winter doesn't seem to have come upon us. Battery back on the bike yesterday, cleaned off the mould (parking it against the fence under the cover is making it damp Sad ) and went for a short ride. All's good, bit nippy still though!

Went for a ride on it. But tomorrow, I'm gonna give it a wash, adjust the rear brake so I don't have to scrunch up my foot, and depending on how well that goes, clean and adjust the chain.

Classic bike show at Newark. A good enough day out for January, not as good as Stafford but well worth the trip.
