Z-Custom Leathers 'Deerskin', made to measure $98.... About £45, for plain black or white.
I have three pairs; I acquired my first back in 1991; and doing product evaluation they were half inched off my bludy desk by one of the Journo's from Bike Magazine... who then went and ruddy crashed in them, and gave them back.... but gave them a 'rave' gear rating; and the US maker's couldn't keep up with the demand; as they were about half the price of off the peg Dianeses and stuff of the time.
No fancy kevlar or carbon in them; just thick well tanned Doe-Skin, and good stitching; they offer superb 'feel', and pretty decent protection... and for the money they are damn good VFM, especially as they are made to measure... you can buy mail order, just send a scan of your hand!
They fit 'like a glove' and the doe skin is SO supple, you wouldn't believe.
I hate not having decent 'feel' and wont wear gloves unless I'm going far or its very cold; and will ride in these in winter; though they are a sport/summer glove; so they are the only gloves I have ever put on I actually WANT to wear as opposed to tolerating. ____________________ My Webby'Tef's-tQ, loads of stuff about my bikes, my Land-Rovers, and the stuff I do with them!
Current Bikes:'Honda VF1000F' ;'CB750F2N' ;'CB125TD ( 6 3 of em!)'; 'Montesa Cota 248'. Learner FAQ's:= 'U want to Ride a Motorbike! Where Do U start?' |

Looks great. Any chance you can post some decent photos if you have them to hand? The ones on the website are awful. Also it doesn't make it clear how you order a custom pair :s |

If feel is all out important, there is only one answer really; and not an expensive one either!

You wouldn't use a leather condom, would you?
However, as actually safety is probably fairly important, for road riding, might be worth looking out for some kangaroo hide ones, as these are supposed to be able to be thinner yet offer the same protection. |

For me the safest feeling, most confidence inspiring gloves I've used to date are my Alpinestars SP1's ____________________ 1st bike (Sept'06 - May'10) : 1991 GPZ500S / Current bike (since Nov 2009) : 2003 Suzuki Bandit 600N
