So I recieve an email the other day which is a classic scam email but this guy hasn't exactly put allot of effort in to his opening email.

Quote:

My name is Mrs. Elizabeth KrUger;I am a dying widow who have being diagnosed with cancer,I have decided to donate what i have to you for charitable Work, contact me for details

So I thought I would reply as I do sometimes just to see how good their stories are.

I just sent back, "Really!!!! Tell me more..." and I have just received this.

Quote:
Dear Beloved

I am most grateful for your mail, and I seize this opportunity to thank you for coming to my rescue. However I crave your indulgence to kindly attend to this In good faith as everything is Legal and the funds belongs to my Late husband who has left me everything he worked for.

I hope you were not too embarrassed by my first email to you since you do not know me; I had no option since the family of my husband in and outside refused to distribute my husband funds because they wanted to keep it to them selves. I don't really know how to move the funds out and dispatched and open a charity organizations in MY NAME to help the motherless Children and less privilege, so I resulted to putting fate to test and making a random contact, I got your email address from a private search which I did on the internet.

I am communicating with only you at this moment with regards to this transaction. And I would not have any cause to do otherwise, except you state your Intention to withdraw your assistance, this fund is presently with a bank in EUROPE and they would be able to transfer the funds to you immediately if you adhere strictly to their directive.
I cannot distribute these funds myself because of the following reasons:
(1) I am undergoing medical treatment and it has defiled all forms of medicine, and right now I have only about a few weeks to live, according to medical expert’s diagnosis.

(2) I want God to be merciful to me and accept my soul and so, I have decided open a charity organizations in MY NAME to help the motherless Children and less privilege, as I want this to be one of the last good deeds I do on earth before my death. It is for this reasons I am seeking for your assistance to stand as the beneficiary to the fund and retrieve it on my behalf and dispatched it to charity organizations. As this is MY LAST WISH BEFORE MY DEATH.

Thus, I would want you to get back to me on the following issues if you are ready to assist me:
(i) That you are in a position to be trusted as a God fearing person with such a large amount of fund ($4.5 Million Dollars)been entrusted to you. Also, that you will agree to set up a charity organisation in MY Name in your country

(ii) I want God to be merciful to me and accept my soul and so, I have decided open a charity organizations in MY NAME to help the motherless Children and less privilege as I wanted it.

(iii) That you are willing to contact the Bank to discuss the terms of releasing the funds to you. As soon as I receive your reply that you are ready to proceed under these terms, then I will furnish you with all details including the Bank Name and nessaccery documents for to lay claims the funds. But if you have any questions to ask me,

please ask and I will be more than happy to respond to them immediately.

attached is a copy of my pic.

Looking forward for your reply.

Remain bless.
Mrs Elizabeth Kruger

I'd like to string this guy along for a bit and waste his time so he doesn't move on to someone who might actually fall for it as quickly. These guys are prepared to invest serious time into it and it would give great satisfaction to do it to him.

Either that or ask if "she" is aware that her photo comes back on the first line of google image search results for "elderly woman hospital". Maybe her web designer grandson has been uploading pictures of her to t'internet without her permission. Or something.

Soon as I opened it I thought, "Nice stock image". You have to be a complete fuckwit to fall for these things but it happens.

I saw a documentary on these 419 scams and one woman had been scammed out of about £45,000 but the guy came clean and said he had fallen in love with her. She went out there and stayed in an aparement for 3 months with him. Was really wierd as she was on the phone to the guy whilst back in the UK saying I'm going out and he was asking who with, what time you back etc. He managed to fleece her again when she went back and she was still in love with him.

Another guy was in his 70's and ploughed £400,000 in to a scam. You can't help but feel sorry for them, spent their entire life working their bollocks off and spend the last of their life savings by giving it to some scammer who just sits on a computer all day doing it to loads of people.

I reckon if they catch them at the other end doing it, they should line them up against a wall and shoot the cunts.

Hey Wali.

There are websites called reverse image searchers, "TinEye" is the is most popular.

All you do is save the image, google "TinEye" and go to the first result then upload the image to it.

Then what it does is search billions of images which are similar until it finds matches and shows you what website(s) they are on.

Google have it now too, when you go to www.google.com look to the right of the search bar for an icon that looks like a camera, click it and you can search by image either by uploading it or pasting the URL.

Cheers! Thumbs Up!

If you use Firefox then there's a plugin available for it that will let you right-click on a pic and let TinEye search for it.
