I posted on here a while back that I was having trouble with my battery dying. It died when it had been raining and from then th e battery had troubles. Id charge the battery once a week through a charger and it would work then die again. I done this for about a month untill it filly died out. I have now bought a new battery and it's died again. This is very annoying lol. What else could it be that is making this happen ?

What bike is it?

Sounds like an Alternator issue not charging the battery, have you checked that? (well if your bike has one).

Hi bud, apart from the obvious, Alternater, Rectifier, which you will need to discount first, you may have a frayed or such wire arcing, so that would discharge your bat quickly, they are not easy to find sometimes, hence an auto electriction, if you are not up to speed on electrics, check alternater/rectifier first, then may be take to a garage might save you time and money in the long run, also if you painstakingly go through the forum you wil find a thread somewhere for all the info that you need on how to do it....you may even get a good answer here..good luck..stay loose and safe Thumbs Up

Sounds like the Reg/Rec (Regulator/Rectifier)
Do a test with a multimeter, like said above, check bike specific info for the output.
They're not TOO expensive on ebay, but brand new theyre £50>

Right okay I have just checked over the bike an it turns out the bike has actually been leaking petrol from the tank and it's leaked all over the regulator it basically looks wrecked. I have a spare petrol tank anyway that I will put on and I'll replace the regulator and hopefully that should do the trick.
