Hetzer, I suspect they might give you something if they use a lot of the material they get from you. Its not going to be a fortune. Maybe a few hundred quid max.
...However, I'm going to say this because I have some respect for you and understand that you are a strongly principled man. They will more than likely spin what you say to fit whatever their aim is. You think newspaper journo's are bad, documentary filmmakers can be worse. I'm not saying they will, but they could use your material entirely out of context and make you look like someone you aren't or make you appear to hold opinions you don't hold. You'll have no editorial control, so you won't be able to complain if they do this.
National Geographic are fairly good as far as I can tell, and I'd be surprised if they did this, but just bear in mind that it is possible that the filmmakers are bottom feeding scum and do whatever they want with the material they get.
Many people might not be too bothered by this, but I can see with you that if they quote you out of context or something, it could provoke anger. ____________________ British beauty: Triumph Street Triple R; Loony stroker: KR1S; Track fun: GSXR750 L1; Commuter Missile: GSX-S1000F; Cheap project: CBR900RR FireBlade

It's for a series we're probably all familiar with and I've never seen it do the dirty on a subject. Like I'd give a toss to be honest, it'll be in the name I was known as then which isn't the one I'm using now. They'll show me in the interviews and use a "double" for the dramatization (she says). Should I hold out for Johnny Depp? ____________________ "There's the horizon! Ride hard, ride fast and cut down all who stand in your way!" |

I got paid 200 euro per day plus food and drink, for being filmed, pretending to be a tourist.
Easiest 800 euro I've ever earned, especially as the whole lot ended up on the cutting room floor! ____________________ "Everybody needs money, that's why they call it money!" |

It was a fucking concentration camp. Ten months of the fifteen I did there in solitary confinement, frostbite in the winter, physical and psychological torture on a daily fucking basis, animal scum. ____________________ "There's the horizon! Akk, mine was three days of beatings, then the drunken guys from Mugabe's tribe turned there backs and Nkomo's boys let/helped me escape and lost all the records ____________________ Bikers make great organ donors, get 115 on your licence today. |

It lasted three days because I refused to let them know where I lived. Nkomo's guys sussed that it was because I had a lot of weed at my place and I did not want a 12 month spanking inside over it, reality was that some twat had decided to give me 24 hand grenades (mixed varieties) as a birthday present and they were in my bathroom (plus a few guns that I did not have a licence for), having that kind of munition carried a life sentence (life was not a long sentence in a Zimbabwean prison ) ____________________ Bikers make great organ donors, get 115 on your licence today. |
