I recently had this problem! It turned out to be corroded wires within the loom!

I put a post on here regarding this, have a look at it and it should help you!

Good luck

tried that myself, but it just didnt work. You can give it a go but the thing is if you manage to fix it temporarily, when will it stop working again? While your riding the thing? I know I wouldnt want to risk it.

Good luck if you try and locate the corroded wires within the loom. Just remember after checking a section replace the wires where they came from otherwise the mechanic that you hand the bike over to will hate you for it, plus it will cost you even more to repair!

first , check the battery voltage (sould be 12.8 to 13.2 Vots) and if it's less than that , put it in slowly charge for 6 hours (max 2Amps)
secondl , check the fuse (take it off , check with ohmmeter) , if OK then clean the contacts (even on the support)and replace it
third , check your ground connection wiring , it's a green big wire going from the battery to the starter (may be broken somewhere)
