I was going to say its like a 200cc version of the Hornet. The new Hornets look a lot like that.
Nice looking bike though all the same. ____________________ illuminateTHEmind wrote: I am just more evolved than most of you guys... this allows me to pick of things quickly which would have normally taken the common man years to master

I've noticed this too, all bikes made from about 2008/09 onwards look like they're made of lego, all pointy angles and sharp corners. What happened to rounded lines and smooth fairings? |

I had the slightly older version while I was in India (180cc). It's one of the most popular bikes over there. The one I had was inspired by the ducati monster.
It's fairly well made, rides well - soaked up the bumps in the dodgy roads well but still had a decent flickable feel considering it's a budget commuter. It's also (in my eyes) very pretty.
It does suffer from the fact it's designed for the Indian market - the engine is rather asthmatic as it's built to withstand very little maintenance rather than for performance. Also given the high availability of parts and very cheap labour over there it does suffer a little on the build quality - electrics were terrible, bolts would shake loose, tyres had tubes.
If you're willing to maintain it and are not looking for performance then it'll serve you well. ____________________ current: ducati monster 750

Looks wicked.
I sat on a Duke 125 at the bike show, it's a nice little unit and I was quite tempted to get a 200 for commuting.
In a few years I may still do so once depreciation has done it's work. ____________________ Bikes: too many, too much for one man to maintain anyway. |
