Very pretty little RS, now you know why people advise against getting first bikes like this with tasty paint jobs that will set you back hundreds to replace those fairings, I reckon over £200 for the large panel! |

Yep. It will sting.
You say it was a 5mph crash - my guess is you'll want the fairing repaired, not replaced. If you're lucky you might get a new side/front fairing on ebay for a good price, but trust me when I say new parts from a dealer are too expensive. I think it's £370 something just for the side, I forget.
There's a site around which offers replacement OEM decals for pretty much all bikes so what you'll probably want to do is get your local bodyshop place to fix up and respray both bits and then add the decals yourself, or ask them to. I'll see if I can find it if you're interested.
Depending on the extent of the damage, this'll probably set you back £250+
There's a good reason why my next bike will be a naked 600. |

it was a country road leading to my mates straight off a main road, so i was braking when i hit the gravel, i think it was about 5mph, somewhere between 5 and 10. it wasnt a smooth road surface, and i came down quite hard. the fairing is beyond repairable
i hope i can find something....somewhere.... |

I wouldn't change the fairing at the moment because if you do it again ............ ____________________ Suzuki RF 600 - The two wheeled Testarossa (Deceased)

At 5mph the damage will not be beyond repairable or even close to being beyond repairable, unless you rode the bike off a cliff at 5mph. You can replace the fairings to have it looking as new again (because the damage from 5mph will be soooo serious ) but as to if it is actually worth doing (or even considering doing) will depend on firstly how much money you have and then on how much sense you have. |

I feel your pain
I think I was going about 60 and lost it on a corner. Luckily the bike just slid. I did the flipping and rolling breaking my collar bone:(
I'm looking for good places for a new right brake hanger, peg, lever and right mirror.. not many on ebay right now.
Rest I can just sand down and respray. |

Bloody hell!! Sorry mate that is bad, and you were only going 5mph! I would replace it but there is a huge risk you will just drop it again. Hope it works out. |
