Hi Chaps

I have a bit of a starting problem with my NSR. When I switch ignition on there isn’t anything there, completely dead! I’m going to replace the battery first of even tho it’s not that old (probs only just over a year) and the plug, but the starting problem started a while ago where you push the start button and it start to turn over but then did nothing else. The battery still had life as neutral light and side stand light would come on.

I wasn’t sure if this was a common problem with them or weather you guys could suggest anything else to try?

Thanks

Change battery 1st and see what happens after that.My guess is you will change the battery and it will work again.
Thumbs Up

I had trouble before also, even if you're getting a spark with your plug which i was with the standard, which i'm guessing you also have on, I fit these for instant start, more MPG, better throttle response.

Generally the age of the battery doesn't matter, it's the conditions of use that affects it's ability to do its job.

Have you tried charging it overnight?

It is possible (probable) the starting issue is different to the battery issue.
