changed pads, changed fluid, bled brakes.

Now every time I stop I can hear a faint squeal, same kind of noise a mini firework screamer would make but not as loud.

Didn't do it before and the pads have done 600 odd miles so they must be bedded in

Any ideas?

Did use copper slip on the back of the new pads?
Check the anti squeal shim is seated (If fitted).

Another thing it may be is a build up of pad material on the discs. I find it can happen more during winter when I tend to brake lighter. Some good hard braking sessions..really get them sizzling has often cured many a squeak.

Glazed pads?
Be hard on those suckas to get rid of the glaze from gentle braking

Pretty sure mike said something like that to me, in more words

My favourite fix for squealing brakes that have been serviced.

Drill out the pad residue/shite that builds up in the holes of the discs.
Use a drill that is a tight fit. You will find out when you see shiny material and not the black shite.

Sorted.

Did you break in the pads correctly? A number of hard stops in a row? Should smell the pads burning a bit. Can't remember the procedure. Just do a search on the web. Something like up to 60MPH, then brake hard down to 10MPH and repeat.

Never heard of that 'procedure' until now.
I think you refer to 'burning-in' a brake.
I don't think it is required on modern brakes.
The procedure is to brake carefully for the first 100miles and allow the pads to conform to the irregularities of the worn disc/s.

Or are you taking the pish?
