Gilera Dna 125 Help!

Ive recently bought a Gilera DNA 125 but it was put in a 50cc frame. It was working fine for the first 2 days when it was home then this morning I tried to start it and it just make a "Clank" Noise. And smoke came out from the middle section just infront of the seat.
Since then the bike hasn't started, It turnes over and battery is still good, but just no combustion.

I checked the fuel and it seems to be getting into the carb fine and then I also checked the spark plug. It turned out to be black and wet, could be oil? I cleaned the plug and put it back in but still no luck

It turnes over and very rarely combusts for like 2 seconds then stops again

Really dissapionted I havent even had it for a week

Does it have a spark ? Check for spark wet meens flooding either because u have weak or no spark .if you have a spark then maybe float in bottom of carb stuck making it flood all time

I didnt try when it was wet but after i cleaned it up and sanded it had a spark, was a brown/blue ish color spark, and hmm yeah Carb could be the issue but i have no idea how to take that thing off, its not like any other carb ive seen

I only gues its carb I've never had a DNA .could be fuel injection?fuel pump can you post a picture of what you think carb is .

Just looked up on eBay they do have carb .you need to check throttle slide is closing in side carb check throttle cable fed properly.if none of them remove float bowl at bottom and check float needle .

Il go get some pictures asap, and the thrittle seems to be fine, the whole carb will need taking apart just to access the float bowl because its positioned right above the engine, thanks for you advice though

No worries don't alter any mixture screws when taking carb to bits .

Also make sure throttle slide is going down because it could b something simple like reaped throttle cable

Ive taken some pictures of the carb and spark plug, the plug is still sparking and It looks like the throttle cable seems fine.
Im not sure how to upload immages though :S

Check that that is correct plug for bike ie look in book or net type in eBay DNA 125 plug see if same plug pic of tip would b better .have u tryied kick start if has one .also unscrew bowl as mentioned urlyer .and take top off think yours has a diaphram check that its not got and holes replace if it has

Make sure that fuel filter is not blocked.one in picture although think you said petrol is geting to carb .once you get that carb off and striped ime sure u will find problem

Im pretty sure its the correct plug, it fits perfectly, in the engine and same brand as the ignition plug. The petrol goes through the filter however im not sure on the orange pipe into the carb. I was really hoping I wouldnt have to take the carb off but I will if i have to.

Its strange because it was working absolutely fine then one morning i just got smoke and now no starting
and there are also some random revs that occour when Im trying to start it

That looks like a 4T carb, I'm unfamiliar with gilera dna125's so I may be wrong, have you checked the condition/level of engine oil?

Does it have plenty of two stoke oil that orange pipe is proberly oil feed

I got a new spark plug and after almost killing the battery it finally fired up, ahh the feeling of joy lol, although hopefully it will continue to work, thanks for the input everyone
