Hi All,

Does anyone else think these bars are slightly bent, or out of line?

Or is it just my eyes playing tricks on me, one side just seems higher than the other

They do look slighty out IMO, is there any sign of damage on them?

Now you say this............

If you look just above the ignition, you can see its not aligned right. This might make the bars appear bent....

Looks like it has been dropped on the left hand side.

Check the footpegs, especially underneath them for signs of damage.

Spot on paddy, Just been out there and it does have scratching and a split to the rubber on the left footpeg and what looks like scratching on the bar end.

Should this be cause for concern?

I've had this image in a photo editing program, the left handle bar does appear to be bent towards the rider by about 3% in comparison to the right side when measured against the yolk.

Edit:
on closer inspection, after altering the contrast ratio I see there's a shadow on the left hand bar that makes it appear more bent then it looks, but there is still a small difference.

I'd say it's the Clocks. Also the indicators throw things out a bit.

It's all good and well drawing lines on them but who says the yoke is perfectly straight? If you drew a straight line across a point of reference on the yokes and matched it inline with the handlebars, then that will give you solid results. As it stands, it could just be they were 97% straight when taking the photo, hence 3% error.

Measuring by pixels?

The image isn't orthographic, nor a properly set up perspective photo. Pointless.

Check for damage, move the clocks back into position, how you missed the ignition being way off I'll never know.

/end thread.
