Cannot believe it, the instructor was utter sh*t, oh yes he was, failed because i didn't pick up the speed for dual carriageway, and was going about 45mph i know its my fault i don't blame him, however he was at first very rude and was like yeah, what, what, in relation to show and tell section, sometimes i couldnt hear him through the radio, took me around like 5 roundabouts, rain was giving it a go too! Well all i can say is probably rebook it and get on with it!!! ____________________ Theory passed 9/03/2012, Mod 1 passed 29/03/2012, Mod 2 passed 19/07/2012. |

Unlucky mate.
Took me 3 attempts to pass.
Don't ponder on it too much and just look forward to next time.
How come you only did 45 on the dual carriageway? |

Maybe adjust your attitude for next time, eh?
Nobody is responsible for your riding choices but you. And if you can't hear, pull over in a safe place and tell him - how else is he supposed to know?
Are you seriously moaning that he took you through a lot of roundabouts? You get that it was a test, right? ____________________ Biking is 1/20th as dangerous as horse riding.

my attitude was good, i don't blame the instructor, i could of passed and i know that, the nerve system was the main factor giving it away, but the attitude of the instructor was very unpleasent, i was there and i know it, not moaning about the roundabouts, but i heard people on here saying that they usually go through about 2 roundabouts, so i thought i should mention it! The radio was fine most of the time, but it did break up twice when he told me to stop before the car, and turn right, but then it was fine, so i just let it go! ____________________ Theory passed 9/03/2012, Mod 1 passed 29/03/2012, Mod 2 passed 19/07/2012. |

The ex-instructors correct me if i'm wrong, but doing 45mph on a road with the national speed limit is a fail all day long, is it not?
Personally I think it's pretty dangerous going that slow (unless it's the speed of heavy traffic) as you have lorries which can do 55mph (I had a Euro one doing 65mph down a dual carriageway yesterday).
Apologies if you haven't been training at a school, but has your instructor not pointed this out before?
Mine had a go at me (well in his own way) for going slow on a 70 road. Since then, if I can, I sit at the speed limit of the road i'm on. Even if it did mean I lost my instructor on a dual carriageway yesterday ____________________ Current Bikes: ZX7r 97 (Black Beauty), VFR400 NC24 (The banana)

To the OP.
Take a deep breath check your bank account and just regard it as one of those things in life that cost you at the moment but face it, years down the line you will hardly remember it. |
I believe is definitely their final , I have already rebooked it, but thats the money i've been saving up for my next bike, woke up today feeling like shit, knowing that i failed for that stupid mistake, everything was going well, he stopped me like 3 times, took me through some difficult roads, turns, junctions and roundabouts, and everything went fine! I believe he was one of the strict examiners, he was also 8min late for the test!
And yes I probably wouldn't remember it at all, years to come! ____________________ Theory passed 9/03/2012, Mod 1 passed 29/03/2012, Mod 2 passed 19/07/2012. |
