Go go gadget flame-proof suit.
Brace for impact.
Back on topic, they are around - I know a few people with 125 cruisers... there is a company called AJS (British, I believe) and they make a cruiser / lowrider. It looks pretty mean for a 125 actually. ____________________ CBT Passed - 22 / 10 / 11 >> Theory Passed - 16 / 02 / 2012 >> Mod 1 Passed - 07 / 03 / 2012 >> Mod 2 Passed - 18 / 05 / 2012. |

Good luck finding anything new and Chinese branded even. Plenty of 125s, but in larger bikes you've really only got the Jinlun and Lifan/Skygo 250s and the Lifan 400.
As usual though, all the importers seem to have gone bust, except for (nobody laugh) Zing Bikes, who might sell you a "Zing Storm" aka the Lifan LF400, a Virago 400 (downsleeved 535) copybike, for £3899.
Cruisers just aren't popular, and the chaps who do ride them are old and have the money to spend on big, expensive bikes. ____________________ Biking is 1/20th as dangerous as horse riding.

Eh? The Chinese branded 250s and 400 didn't appear until after the small capacity Jap cruisers had already been withdrawn. ____________________ Biking is 1/20th as dangerous as horse riding.

Interesting - wasn't there earlier! May still be some UK stock - dealer told me it had been discontinued.
Regardless of the 'gay' or 'tassles' argument, some people are more comfortable on a cruiser style bike. ____________________ Current Carz: Jeep Liberty, Kia Sorrento Diesel

Looks pretty good for a 125 cruiser and its kymco, so a cut above the chinese rust buckets... ____________________ Sane: To know when you are doing something crazy. |

I like it.
I have a Suzuki GZ125, as I have just gone back to bikes.
I can't wait to pass my test and get a larger cruiser.
I get goose pimples just thinking of all the gay sex I can have and how I can ham it up knowing that I have just spent loads of dosh on something to satisfy my mid life crisis, on a bike that nobody likes.
Then again perhaps I am straight and just like the aesthetics and ride of a cruiser type bike.

No, it's definitely the bummer thing. Sorry.
Hmm, I've forgotten about the Hyosungs. I wonder how well they sell. ____________________ Biking is 1/20th as dangerous as horse riding.

Shame, I had the Intruder 125 for my first bike and absolutely loved it to bits. Couldn't do more than 50 up a hill mind, but I blame the 125 part and not the cruiser part.
Looked much bigger than a 125 and even attracted some positive attention...until I started the engine |
