Missing posts?

Hi

Has there been a fairly severe forum prune? My post count has dropped by about 3000. Oldest posts I can find seem to be about 10 days after the forum started.

Yep, noticed a bid drop a few days ago in my post count.

No prune (only old spam topics/accounts) however there was a full re-sync of user data from DB the week before last, so if your post count wasn't accurate it would have been adjusted to its actual total.

Fair enough, but 3000 or so is one hell of an adjustment. Also the old posts seem to be missing.

Not sure, but people have replied to that one. Can't find my early posts, but that always has been rather dodgy (got bored scrolling forward in failed searches).

Hmmm; https://www.bikechatforums.com/viewtopic.php?p=34 is the same as https://www.bikechatforums.com/viewtopic.php?p=31 - would suggest something is up.
I think there's more duplicated threads too.

The number refers to a post, so multiple ones can bring up the same thread (especially when the first post if hidden).

Paging seems to be very screwed when looking at my posts in my profile

p= means 'post id', not 'thread id' (t=) so those two posts are in the same thread, which is fine.
