Hey guys,

The bike is a 02 speed four. It's got Nissin 4 piston callipers. A single line goes from the master cylinder to the right calliper and a second line goes from the right to the left calliper. I have realised that my front brake has become a bit spongy so I bled the brakes, got some contaminated fluid and a couple of small air bubbles from the right calliper.

When I moved to the left calliper, again a bit of contaminated fluid and lots of air. No matter how many times a press the lever, air keeps coming out. Also, when I press and then tighten the nipple, normally the brake fluid should not move in the draining line (should it?) In this case it does...

Is it a problem with the nipple being leaky and letting air into the system or could it be piston seals?

Thanks

You can heat the washers over the gas cooker until they glow and let them cool on there own for another shot. Get a bit syringe and bleed from the nipple up but it sound like you have shit under your nipple. Gee it a clean or get new ones.

That's a good video. Smile

The most straight forward one I have seen for that method.

Thanks guys.
