 |
|
Hi,
I have a '97 Honda CG 125 and I noticed on the way home from work that the bike was making a noise which I hadn't heard before.
What I believe has happened is that the rear sprocket has come loose because of the cush drives. Please see the video I took of it being loose: https://vimeo.com/43684190
Is this an easy fix? If so, how much roughly will this cost to fix (in £)?
Many thanks for any replies in advance. |

I think you may be bang on the money there. I tried to tighten all of the nuts and two of them wouldn't tighten at all. I think I'd be able to replace that myself, however, if there is anything else that needs doing whilst replacing the carrier, I'd be a bit out of my depth. |

You should be fine with the one linked. If it needs a new bearing all you are doing is taking out a retaining clip and banging the old one out. Fit new in reverse. Just remember what way round your wheel spacers came of for when you put it back togeather. |
