looks like the front wheel traintracked in a trench.

Its happened to me before, front wheel gets locks in a trench, sometimes you dont even know you are in one.

You move one tiny bit, you fall off and the bike carries on.

Like a train.

Well, I was suprised how much damage there was. Bent gear lever I guess I expected, clutch leave was saved by the hand guard, but handlebars bent, and forks twisted.

Anyway, I've booked some off road training for July. Very Happy

Riding in a small rut, hit a slighly muddier part and down you go.

The counter-intuitive thing is going faster makes it easier.
