I've noticed my ER5 has developed a handlebar shake when I loosen my grip.
Anyone have any ideas what might be to blame?

Head bearings, would be the most likely source.
You need to look at tyre wear as well, not necessarily the front tyre. Any damge to the wheels themselves? Tyre pressures?
Least likely is front suspension, fork seals ok, correct amount of oil?

I'd put my money on head bearings though, see if it makes any difference if you re-grease and nip the bearings up a bit, if that solves your problem then I'd be looking at replacing them.

Front wheel might need balancing again.

The weights fell off mine and the same thing happened.

Same problem occured on myW650. Front tyre wear was the culprit.
