I will need it on my Fazer to change the front sprocket, real wheel nut and so on. From what I come to understand there isn't one that goes all the way from 10 nm to 150nm which is the range that covers all the possible tightening setting on my bike. I also don't wanna spend a fortune. so I've decided to go for this one https://www.amazon.co.uk/Draper-30357-Micrometer-Adjustment-Torque/dp/B0001K9S52/ref=sr_1_2?s=diy&ie=UTF8&qid=1340034688&sr=1-2

do you have any suggestions for other products or anything else? any advice is welcome Smile thanks

I have a very similar one.

I got an expensive one for small stuff and a cheap one for big stuff on the basis that a 10% error on 7ft/lb can mean a snapped or loose bolt but a 10% error on 140ft/lb is less of an issue.

The trouble with torque wrenches is that they are less accurate at the extremes of their range. So the best thing is a few that have overlapping ranges.

I have that very one. Its decent enough.

Having said that, for a front sprocket I'd have just gone for 'pretty fucking tight' and left it at that.

This one also gets a vote from me, I've used mine for a couple of years no problem.

Saying that, I only ever use it on engine parts. I have to agree with the above post...... when it comes to wheel nuts, they tend to get the old "whole body weight plus hammer when required" treatment....

I have a very similar one for about the same price. Mine is Clarke branded, from Machine Mart Thumbs Up
(Only used it 3 or 4 times in the last couple of years, but at least it's there when I need it)

Have to say my small one is a Draper as well. Does most of the stuff around the bike with exception of the wheels.

I was advised that if I could to try before I buy. Ideally see if can put in vice and test that you're happy with the break/click. Even different models of the same wrench can have a different feel.
