Best bike shops to get riding gear for women i.e. helmet, jacket, gloves etc, without being ripped off!!

I've heard that the shops are expensive and as Im new to riding I dont want to buy my first set of gear online.

Any suggestions will be amazing!

Thanks.

Riders is aimed at Harley homos and Ducati fanbois, hence it is overpriced and pretentious. There is also a Suzuki/triumph dealer not far from riders in Cardiff but they don't have a lot in.

Hein Gericke is just down from Cardiff Castle which is always worth a look. Also South Wales Superbikes in Newport, Thunder road in Cwmbran and if you fancy a little journey, Fowlers in Bristol is massive and has loads of kit.

SW Superbikes are massively overpriced on their bikes and well known for it.
They are quite good for kit though.

...also JT's and Thunder Road in Bridgend.
...and JT's also in Swansea, as well as M&P's (when they eventually finish their rebuild/renovation),

The Cardiff Suzuki/Triumph dealership that DonnyBrago mentioned is Bevans in Hadfield Road, which also has Cardiff Motorcycle School on site

Over the bridge you have Fowlers and Hein Gericke in Bristol.

If you're on a bit of a budget, what is commonly suggested (and what I was doing the other day) is to go into places, try on stuff and make a note of the model/range and a size and then see if you can find it on eBay at a price more suitable to you.

Don't scrimp if you can help it, but sometimes you can get lucky with a bargain.

If you're looking for bigger ladies clothes or want to try mens as well (which you should!), remember that the waist adjustment is the ladies size + 21. For example, if you're a 20, you'd add 21 and get 41 so you would want to be trying 40-42 in the mens trousers. For chest size, you want to measure around the back and across the front of the breasts, much like getting a bra measurement done. Then add a couple of inches for a bit more room unless you're happy witha bit of boob squishing. Is all down to how you feel comfy.

Ah yes,
"Do you do any Ducati Wallets?"
"Yes we do, we have this one and this one, but they aren't in stock"
"That is very nice, how much is that?"
"£130"
"HOW MUCH! FOR A WALLET? This one cost me £7!"

Stupid prices.
