Just had a girl on a scooter follow me near my house to tell me my riding was bad because I overtook her on the inside (apparently the outside of the road is the inside?)

It's funny because she was indicating right for like a mile, ran through red lights accelerating through ambers while the police were in front of her

And was driving down the center of the duel carriage way lanes for a bit

Seems legit, was only trying to have a bit of fun, didn't notice she was a girl till she spoke btw, stopped next to her and said hi as i'd seen her before and another scooter guy said hi to me and was quite pleasant so I try and share the good karma

We were both filtering through traffic in a line where it's heavily congested on my commute, I often ride in a pair now so always keep my self in her mirrors and don't do anything unexpected (yes she was leading the filtering )

And when I overtook her we were riding sort of staggered side by side, with me behind her to the left

It was perfectly safe and not a problem she just felt like being an arsehole because she 'knows best'
She was wearing a red bandana over her face too so I was super scared

So let's see, is accelerating through ambers as they turn to red and running a red light illegal?

Not sure if it is legal but if a car is turning and there is a big enough gap on the inside I always take it minding of doors opening though. Saves time and saves waiting behind people who will take a year to turn.
