 |

Hi
Me again, yeah I know
I'm too tall for my bike with my boots on, turning at full lock my leg gets trapped, not a problem unless i'm going slowly like uturns etc. in which I have to stick my knee out like a pratt or hang my leg off the pegs
What's my best option, somehow lowering the pegs, or getting new bars?
It's only a couple of inches I need, but it's enough that i'll lose balance when my leg gets trapped
I've had a quick look at my pegs, and don't really see how I can lower them, at least without having to move my gear selector pedal and rear brake
I can deal with it for now, but I fear for mod 1 it might prove an issue..
Also with being slightly too big for it holding the bike up is more awkward as my leg is bent rather than straight and holding it erect
At the same time I don't want some faggy cruiser above my head bars, i'd rather have flats but that'd make it even worse I imagine
Any pointers?? ____________________ Fzr-600 1999 |

Stop spending money on it, pass your tests, buy a physically larger bike that can accommodate your size. Persevere until then. ____________________ 2004 R1 & 2018 XSR900 |

Get a bigger bike.
On both my old ped and 125, my lanky structure was only emphasized by the fact I was riding such small bikes.
Now I've got the cb5, I look much more 'normal' on it, due to the fact it's a bigger bike and the foot pegs are further back, so my knees are lower down on the tank.
I don't think I could ride a 125 again for daily use.
Had a go on my mates 125 and I thought the footpeg was the gear lever. |

Unfortunately being 6ft 6, bikes are never going to be designed for someone that tall.
You are always going to be fitting yourself into an ill fitting shoes so to speak.
Best thing you can do is slot yourself onto the tallest bike you can find and avoid sportsbikes.
Id love to see what you look like on a 125 though
Ive seen a couple of people 6ft2-4 literately FOLD themselves onto a 400, which is quite funny. ____________________ Ducati 1299 Panigale

I've got my theory booked and will be passing the tests before too long but moneys a bit tight as i'm in the process of moving out
Just wondered if there was an easy tweak or if I could just move the pegs down some how
Suppose not
Ape hangers can fuck off, i'd rather chop my legs off
Btw what bigger bikes are out there that wont eat fuel like a cunt? I really don't want to be spending shit tons on fuel ____________________ Fzr-600 1999 |

all bikes are good on fuel, wait till you start driving a car .
I consider my gixxer to be excellent on fuel .
I couldnt grumble about my SP1 either, known for being poor on fuel.
When you drive an RX8 (16mpg average) or an 350z (24mpg av) any bikes good.
adventure bikes are probably what's gonna be your bag, i know everyone says its ugly but ive always liked the Ducati Multistrada 1100. ____________________ Ducati 1299 Panigale
