I have a reasonably decent track pump used for my road bike.
Has Schrader and Presta valve, plus a pressure gauge.

Probably a monstrously obvious question I'm asking, but will it be fine for use on motorcycle tyres?

I can't see any reason why it wouldn't be, but it would be rather annoying if I ended up letting a tyre down leaving the bike stranded at my house for a bit.

Logically if a 120psi tyre can be inflated by the pump, a 30psi one should be fine, it'll just require a bit more handwork given the volume of the tyre, no?

We used to pump motorbike tyres up with the old fasioned push-bike pumps!

Some bikes as late as the 1980's, CZ I think used to include them in the OE tool kit! Not that they were much good, as ISTR, but still!

So yeah, principle is good....

Pumping up tyres on my old pedal & pop with one kept me out of trouble for many MANY hours though! But heaven help me if I left mi grandad's foot-pump in the grass to go 'rusty' again!

It's absolutely no problem at all, well, apart from getting to the valve.

I use my track pump to do all tyres, even on the cars.

Yes, it will just take a bit longer if it's a smaller pump Thumbs Up

It'll do anything but seat a new tubeless tyre on the bead.

In fact, if it's a halfway decent trackpump, you need to watch you don't overinflate them.

As mentioned, the only drawback might be the length of time it could take, depending on the size/capacity of the pump...

I've certainly used a track pump with a gauge in the past to keep car tyres topped up

I use a simple aluminium push bike pump because I got a slow puncture and not so worried of going out now.

Seemed to work fine. Bit of a struggle getting it attached to the valve on the rear tyre as the spokes get in the way. Found that my front tyre was 10psi under, so a good job I sorted that out.
