so my garden has a back gate to the pathway and road.
its also down a step.
my mate broke the wooden ramp i had made rolling the bike in and using the front brake, so i rebuilt it, a little higher at the top end than before.
anyhoos, pushing the bike out backwards (its a yard, no room to turn it around in the yard, even on rollers) i forgot about the higher angle and the bike came rolling back down towards me.
add to that crappy grip on these boots.
it went over. dented tank, bent gear lever (still usable though thank god) and a broken indicator.
friggin wonderful!
still, first time i've dropped it in 4 months of owning it.
i guess, as per title, it had to happen sooner or later.
just needed to vent a little, and considering, its rather polite lol

You dropped a 125, are you a man or a mouse
Only ever dropped one bike, a FJ1200 on gravel but being a man not a mouse I chucked my self under it before it hit the deck.
Had to wait 20 mins tho for my neighbour to come home and lift it off me |

I once rode like 400 km, a lot of deep coarse sand, I had a few head shakes but no falls.
I came home exhausted. I sat on bike a few seconds, then started getting off. But I had forgotten to put down the side stand. Over I go, the 1200 GS on top of me, and my head slams into driveway. Good thing I get off the bike before removing my helmet
Really stupid idiotic fall.
Speaking of idiotic, mfactor what are you doing with an fj1200 riding on gravel? ____________________ 2011 KTM 990 Dakar

LOL!! He made the classic mistake of riding in the middle. That is where mud is the softest. He should have stayed in the ruts, you being unable to steer in mud then wont matter. He also cant stand on the pegs, to put the COG down at the pegs.
needless to say, road tyres didnt help the problem
Pick a line, stay in the line, stand up and apply throttle gradually. I guess the power curves of the GSX doesnt help either. It doesnt have the low end grunt at low rpm to handle mud. ____________________ 2011 KTM 990 Dakar

That's a right pikey house
wheres this?
One of the first times I tried to take my YBR out it pushed me over in my work shoes over the ice, it slowly slid me over
Then another time I got off my bike and my leg locked up with serious horrible unweight bearing cramp, I slowly fell onto the ground in near fetul position with the bike leaning on me
It was horribly weird, never had that before ____________________ Fzr-600 1999
