I'm assuming they're quite strict about it being upto scratch?
Ive got - Shit headlight, bodged in, no hi-beam
Broken ignition
No speedometer
Just not happening unless I sort it right
Worried they might be like "why the fuck is your tank black when the bikes registered as blue"
Bit prang
People telling me to just hire a 500 and do the unrestricted test, but I've never been on big ole banana slug and it'd make it cost a lot more, and how would I get the hire bike to the test centre?
Wouldn't wanna flop, know the feel of my YBR very well and would be much more comfortable on it (believe it or not ) ____________________ Fzr-600 1999 |

If it's any reassurance they didn't check my bike at all, they just noted the registration and that was it. Could be because its a brand new 2012 bike though so they didn't see the need. |

That should be OK then
You don't need to look at your speedo for mod 1, just take the bend as fast as your comfortable with and pin it on the straight, easy ____________________ 1998 CG125 (Sold) CB500 [+ Clio 172]

If they do refuse you, I'm afraid I can't help with the £15, but I'll send you some sympathy. ____________________ 1998 CG125 (Sold) CB500 [+ Clio 172]

I've never known them to check a bike, at the end of the day they're not mechanics, they see your MOT cert and assume that it's all good. ____________________ Prev- Pug speedfight 2 50cc x3 (Write off, blown engine and stolen), Honda Xr 125-L (Nail), Suzuki GSX-R 600(stolen). Do you know anyone locally who can ride to the centre with you on their 500+ bike and let you put L plates on it then bin it on the swerve? ____________________ Biking is 1/20th as dangerous as horse riding.

Alpha-9. You don't live far from me.
How' bouts you buy a 500, I'll go collect it for you. Get your bike test on a Saturday and i'll come round, Ride your bike to test centre. Wait for you to do your test, Then ride it back.
Then same for mod 2.
Then you have a 5' for when you pass your test . |
