And don't forget to check your power band. Might need some tightening.

Depends what colour it is. The purple ones, though slower, are self-adjusting and need no maintenance.

But only if you've not opted for a reciprocating contrary mandible. Best to get both, in my view.

Are those the ones that maintain a power to weight ratio?

I think you're mixing it up with the fleen gasket. The mandible, when reciprocating in a contrary manner, keeps the correct tension on the power band and stops the colour fade.

Don't forget to check the tagnut adjusters and dangleberry adapters are properly greased or you could blow a pisstake valve.

It's actually called a clunge piston. This is a common mistake to make.

I always get confused by this; which sprocket is for power and which is for weight? I went down a tooth on the front sprocket and up 3 teeth on the rear so has that increased or decreased my power to weight ratio?

They can only be used in conjunction with a flanged bore; pretty sure Honda were the only manufacturer to offer that in '04.

Stop taking the piss. No bike can wheelie at 100mph. Except my mate's RS125, on his uncle's private airstrip.

You've just done the Heisenberg mod, so technically, both.

I used to do that all the time. Really hard to make a quick getaway without the front coming up. The trick is to make sure you don't apply anyway downwards pressure so don't let your weight pull on the bar as you accelerate...

I find it a lot easier now that I'm over 3 feet tall.

I think it all depends how much you spend on it - 22K is a good starting point.

If you do want to fadge around with gearing remember that the back sprocket is the one that does top speed.

Yes, and the front does acceleration. This is why MotoGP bikes are so fast as they have more teeth on both sprockets so the bike accelerates faster and has a higher top speed.
