Insurance for young rider's help

Well,

I'm now beginning to get insurance quote's for my:

" 1993 NSR 125 F "

i have been on go compare, confused etc but all the quotes seem to be very high around £380 for a year , i have 1 year's no claim's, i am unemployed ( at the minute ) 18 year's old in August, good location so low crime rate, in a locked garage all good information what they want to hear yet still high.

i have heard that go compare are bad and you do not get accurate quotes, a couple of my friends who have the same preference's to me are getting quotes well under £300 :O using single insurance company's !

Any help or any website's or company's i could use is a big help !

P.S i do also have a FULL UK driving license, no point's

Aim for fire and theft/fully comp. Sometimes cheaper!

That's pretty decent for a learner on a nice bike. I paid £285 on my CLR in 2007.

£300 ish for an 18 year old doesn't sound at all expensive.
When you say Full UK Licence, do you mean car licence with provisional bike, or full bike?
If you are on L's then for an NSR which iis a 'sporty' and high group 125, then that sounds pretty damn good.
If your not on L's, 125 'Learner-Loading' plus the premium of a high-group sporty 125 like NDS, you may find you get better quotes on bigger, more insurance freindly machines, like a GS500 for instance.
Other wise, just a case of spending the time trawling the web, looking at all the sites, putting in the effort, entering your info in ALL the quote proposals....
Stick it in a note-pad file & Copy & paste.... it just takes time!
Insurance is a volatile market, and places change all the while; just read the small print to make sure quotes are like for like on stuff like excesses and actual cover.
We cant do it for you, and certainly cant tell you who will give you best quote for your details, its just too 'random'.
Google is your friend, and rewards are given for effort.

Of course i will go for some loop hole's in insurance

I am not planning on doing stupid mileage either ( Up to 3000 )

I have tried adding people but it does not work, just used that website above and i was getting quotes for £384.55 ( cheapest )
so i may as well just stick with go compare quote's

Anyone used Bike Sure ?

My Car insurance was on my fathers mechanics traders insurance so i was sorted in that area

if your putting fully comp drop it to TPFT if your that fussed but i think thats a good price considering your age/blah blah... I paid about £300 for my NSR at 21 if that helps.
