Following on from this thread https://www.bikechatforums.com/viewtopic.php?t=252383
Would a standard production bike actually be able to loose a police helicopter.Even though the helicopters top speed is less than a lot of bikes they can go as the crow flies.i believe if its flown well the bike would stand no chance Thoughts please ____________________ "Nitrous is like a cheap hooker, you want to hit it but are scared of the consequences |

No chance in hell of outrunning, unless they need to call it off because they're low on fuel or something.
Outsmarting? Maybe...
Ditching the bike and going in to a block of flats/heavily populated area seems to be the most successful tactic in police helicopter evasion. ____________________ 1998 CG125 (Sold) CB500 [+ Clio 172]

According to google. The MD902, used by many UK forces, has a tank range of 290 nautical miles and a top speed of 155mph.So you might need to stop for fuel somewhere in the chase or do a constant 155 ____________________ "Nitrous is like a cheap hooker, you want to hit it but are scared of the consequences

I think that the range or speed doesn't matter at all. Each police unit has a radio. So if they want to, they can just call an police car ahead to do something about it. ____________________ '87 Honda XBR 500, '96 Kawasaki ZX7R P1, '90 Honda CB-1, '88 Kawasaki GPz550, MZ 150 ETZ
