Dunno where my account went but hey,
I passed my A2 last Tuesdays, on my 1977 cg125, and being over 25 I don't have to worry about insurance prices
I ain't test rode any yet, waiting on license.
Anyone got any advice on getting a test ride from a dealer?
I would like a V-Twin, and trying to find a list of available bikes with one. Pref naked.
Been looking at a NT650 hawk, or an SV650 naked. Both sell reasonable price with low mileage on them.
Any help with them 2 problems appreciated.#
Damien

because of the reliability, mileage, mpg, torque.
When my license comes through, going to be trying allot for bikes, and might change my mind. But not just yet |

SV's from what i've heard dont take well to being wheelied due to the oil pressure dropping out and lunching a cylinder.
Also heard that in the wet without a fenda extenda they dump a lot of water into the plug on the front cylinder and run as a 300 and a bit cc single till they dry out.
They're a bit of a budget bike, and the suspensions supposed to be a bit shite.
However.
The pointy, full fairing one, with a tail tidy, solo seat, carbon can and some nice sticky tyres? Would definately have. I think it's a realy nice looking bike, and they sound awesome. Everyone i know thats owned one (except ##Paddy##) loves em.
