What headphones do you guys wear for long commutes?

My headphones keep getting dragged out of my ears when I put on my helmet so it's a slight pain in the arse!

Thanks

They stay in for me. I don't have those exact ones, but I do have the rubbery in-ear type ones (same style as those) and they're fine.

It'll depend on your ears and your helmet as well though!

Sennheiser CX 300-II Precision Headphones

Was a thread a while ago and they seemed to be the majority vote. Had mine for about a year before they finally went whilst cycling in a storm. Don't hurt your ears at all because they're small and rubbery, great sound quality and cheap enough to quickly replace if they break. They also come with 3 different sized buds to stop them coming out so easily. Thumbs Up

These are not expensive headphones nor are they the best on the market. However compared to most headphones I've tried and that includes sennheiser cx380 I'd rate them the best so far.

my Sennehseisers broke after a couple of years, bought these for £10, bass is very good and cuts through wind noise well. I normally wear them with the wire going up and around the top of my ear flap, then going into my ear upside down, go in and stay in fine but sometimes pop out when removing the helmet.

These. Awesome quality. Paid £35 for them and a couple of pound to insure them from HMV. I can take 'em back at any moment and have the replaced without reason. Given how fast I tend to break headphones this is most useful.

Quality of the sound is great, they go right into your ear and block out a lot of the surrounding noise. Great all-round and highly recommended.

Are there any good ones with iPhone compatible remote controls? I've clicked the link posted and can't find any.

I just use standard Iphone ones purely due to as mentioned above, I like having the use of the remote.

Might look into buying some better ones, but dont go on that many long trips.

Cheap as chips and work great.

I cant stand shit sounding headphones. The ones that come with the iPhone hurt my ears if I wear them for longer than 20mins and as you say they fall out.

I used to uses these

https://www.houseoffraser.co.uk/Bose+MIE2+Mobile+headset/146128669,default,pd.html

Lasted about two years of wear everyday.
Pros: easy on the ear, sounds good but ear canal could still breathe. All working iPhone remote.
Cons: Expensive, sometimes fall out in helmet.

Then I got,

https://www.accessoryjack.com/ultimate-ears-ue-600vi-noise-isolating-earphones-for-iphone-metallic-black.html

Last about 6months of daily use.
Pros: Cheaper, Lots of bass, never fall out, great isolation if you like that, great for motorways, easy RMA process Smile . All working iPhone remote.
Cons:Made of soft cheese, 3 sets under warranty (2year) so far due to cable by the jack breaking.

I use https://www.ultimateear.com/products/soundear.php

The best £170 that I have probably ever spent!

Keeps the wind moise out and I can have the music at any volume!

When my girl friend moans and nags at me in bed I just put these babies in and look at and whisper: "Problem!"

I didnt want to spend that much my budget was originally £70

I have experimented with so many in ear headphones and they all after a while started to hurt my ears but the above custom earphone ear plugs leave me pain free and my hearing happy!
