Looks like the gifts are in the £60 to £100 ballpark.
The Bosch drill is only 12v. If I was buying for myself I'd get something rated 18v or 24v with a little more umph. However, as it's 'free' then it's your choice (btw, on amazon not much price difference 'tween 12v and 18v atm).
We had a similar garden hammock (the G25K in catalog). Seemed like a good idea at the time. Got practically zero use once the first, I'll try it for 5 minutes wore off. Not sure if the G145 brazillian hammock is as practical without the support frame.
Citizen watch, if it's the mechanical (not quartz) version is good as probably the same as the one have that's 25+ years old and still going strong (replace strap obviously). That looks like the quartz to me though (see amazon.co.uk here).
The jewellery is a bit obvious and probably will not be appreciated as a gift if found out it was a freebie. Beside that, it's your 5 years isn't it (unless you have a cross-dressing fetish).
Pens I misplace quite easily (or they get 'borrowed') so that wouldn't be my first choice (you did ask what you'd pick didn't you).
Basically I'd be reluctant to get anything that'd break (without and easy fix) or go out of date. I'd probably go for either of the watches, the Fossil (looks like model CH2564 on amazon.co.uk) or the Citizen.
Please post your final choice as I'm just curious now

I'd go for whatever has the best chance of selling for the most cash. ____________________ Chances are quite high you are not in my Monkeysphere, and I don't care about you. Don't take it personally.

I think I'm going with the Hammock, it was the most expensive thing I looked up on amazon, and aside form that I reckon it will get the most use, I did like the look of the watch however I already own a fossil watch I don't wear!
This picture put me off too.https://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/51nwXRdo5wL.Image._.jpg
Look at the fucking size of it!
As I said I have a corded drill that serves me well and a battery screw driver.
Nothing else I really fancy. ____________________ Well, you know what they say. If you want to save the world, you have to push a few old ladies down the stairs.

If you have a missus, why don't you get some of the jewellery? (wow thats an annoying word to spell), the watches look half decent, and the cameras probably cheapy rubbish ones.
A gift is a gift, enjoy whatever you get mate! |

Hi,
Why not go for the 'Bird' watching equipment.
You could have hours of fun and post up pictures of all the 'birds' nudge nudge, that you see.
If not use a pin to randomly select anything and then post it up onto the BCF give away page
