There's an MC28 for sale here, full ground up, nut and bolt rebuild in Telefonica GP colours but the seller wants a helluvva lot, If I had the cash I'd buy it!

Info on the bike is below. Owned by a guy who posts on a 2T forum under the name Yaddy, quite something isn't it!!
It also won an award that day.
Frame:
RD250 Pro (Twin shock, Air-cooled)- Realigned headstock to give a slightly sharper steering angle. Remanufactured the headstock area with frame bracing, tank mounts etc. Braced at rear and subframe area. Mounts fitted to accomodate the TZ fairing. Replaced bottom rails to get rid of the exhaust hangers. Cut out and replaced the rear engine mount to take the LC motor (mounts modified from a GS650 Katana). Modified to take an R1 rear shock. Whole subframe removed, replaced with custom subframe, electrics and battery box. Modified footrest hangers
Swingarm:
RD350A - Custom bracing fitted to take the mono-shock and uses the actual shock mount from a busted LC swinger. I did fit an LC arm originally but it would have been a PITA to fit the wheel and carrier etc, LC arms are approx 30mm longer than the twin shock ones so I deemed it "not as much fun" too!
Sidestand:
GSXR1000 K1
Forks:
RD350A - Slightly shorter springs with adjustable preload spacers
Yokes:
RD350A- modifed lock stops on bottom yoke, casting marks removed from top yoke and milled the original bar mounts to take the push button ignition and killswitch
Shock:
1998 R1 4xv
Wheels:
RD350A front hub
Rear hub unknown, RD350A sprocket carrier
Genuine Borrani aluminium race rims, stainless spokes, BT45’s
Brakes:
Front- Aprilia RSV master cylinder, RD twin piston calliper, disc unknown
Rear- Brake plate believed to be YDS (right side chain drive) with LC shoes, H2 brake cable
Engine:
RD250LC bottom end, oilpump removed, YPVS clutch basket with adjustable pressure plate
RD350LC top end with 375 conversion, mild port tune
Modified head
YPVS reed blocks and carb rubbers
Boost bottle
6mm reed block spacer
Carbs:
TZR250 2MA - 28mm Flatslides with powerjets. Notoriously tricky to setup on an LC but worth the effort when done (so I'm told, still fettling!). 27.5 pilots, 290 mains, brass ball drilled out from air circuit (2mm). Standard needles at the min but will be going for a richer set and possibly reducing the mains and pilots to suit

Unknown, Len Manchester maybe? They came from a TZ350, I made the flanges and fitted the spring mounted end caps to allow easy access for packing
Electrics:
Custom loom, using LC CDI, fuse box, reg/rec, coils. Keyless pushbutton ignition and killswitch
Controls:
Front- Billet clipon mounts that take replaceable blades, Honda RS125 (Magura) quick action throttle, RSV Master cylinder, R1 clutch perch, RD350A lighting controls (modified), TZ grips
Rear- Custom footrests and mountings, modified XJ650 gear and brake levers
Honda NC24 Choke lever setup
Cables – Custom made (exception of rear brake and speedo) using a kit from Venhill Racing (good quality kits, recommended)
Lighting:
Honda side light, headlight from Halfords and modified to take a H4 lamp, square rear light from Demon Tweaks
Gauges and Idiot lights:
RD350A speedo
KR1S Temp gauge (custom mount)
LED high beam and neutral light
Currently NO tacho!
