Just had a phone call from the missus to say that her neighbor 2 doors in has broke her gate down, verbally threatened her and complained about the loudness of my bike. I wheel it from the back of my girlfriends house and onto the street where I start it up. By the time I’ve got my helmet and gloves on then I’m ready to go, 2 mins max. She said she is going to report my bike to the council as it’s too loud and apparently I keep revving it for 20 minutes each morning Rolling Eyes

Situations like this was always resolved with a stern talking to or a dry slap but she’s a gypsy and if you piss one off you piss the whole clan off. She’s also said that she’ll take a sledgehammer to my bike when she sees it next Rolling Eyes I ought to complain about her retarded kid shouting in the garden at the early hours on a Sunday morning if that's the case… Middle Finger

What do you guys reckon would be the best resolution?

A) Apologise (Although no reason to)?
B) Start it up further away from the house?
C) Carry on regardless and see what comes of it?
D) Poke shit through her letterbox?

Burn the child, move.

I'm too old for this shit. I had enough of bullshit like this when living various places in and around bristol and it's just pointless.

My sister gets this shit, gives this shit and is a constant stream of hassle. All day long is stupidity on fb. Glad i'm well out of it.

/old and living in the country

Let me know where you live.

If they think yours is noisy... I'll take a visit. They'll then realise yours is a whisper quiet bike and leave you alone/kill me and put my head on a pike Laughing

There is pretty much nothing they can do, all you can do is report to the police but being of the gypo origin, they won't give a rats arse.

As Marmalade says, torch the kid.

Why hasn't anyone though of option E.

CALL THE POLICE,

If the neighbour damaged your property and threatened your misses. that should be more than enough to get them round.

Well if they broke the gate down that's criminal damage full stop and you ought to report them to the police. Likewise state that they've threatened to commit further criminal damage to your property.
Any noise your bike may make is negligible compared to the criminal acts clearly already committed...
If they wanted to complain they should have gone to the council and had them issue some sort of noise abatement order instead they've decided to play vigilante.
Are you honestly going to play along with their intimidation game!? Weak...

Just call them "degenerates" then. They will attend if you say some crazy bitch a few doors up went on a rampage. Mention a knife or gun. Wink

tell them you will use thier kids big mouth as a muffler if its that bad... as it doesnt compare to thier fat gypo kids mouth.

or second option is tell them where a deserted field is down the road, then watch them migrate with the rest of the scum and leave porta loos and fridges lying around the outside of the field along with calour gas bottles!.

or tell them you will skin/dice and cook thier fat kid if they touch your bike or come back moaning!
Dont forget to mention stopping the dominos pizza guy on the way to thier fatass household and sprinkling a generous helping of diced pikey on there meat feast.

greesy scum

I wouldn't get involved in this type of row with a degenerate - why not wheel it out, leave the engine off whilst you gear up - start it and ride off.
I do this every morning with no problems, just take it easy until it's warm.

why not put your lid and gloves on... then start the bike... then ride it?

My bike is on for maybe 15seconds before I pull away from my house, purely so it doesn't piss the neighbours off as mine is fairly loud as well.

Leaving a bike idle to warm it up isn't a good idea anyway, get on it, ride it, keep revs low. job done.

Be noisy, wait for an intruder with a big hammer to come around, kill it in self defence.

On a more serious note - criminal damage and a threat - call the plod, tell them what the crazy bint did.

Update

The missus has phoned the police and the council and will have an officer round mid afternoon. She has got a crime number etc so will see what comes of it, if anything… At least get her to pay to get the gate fixed and apologise as I’m not having her shout abusive language in front of my missus and the kids.

Also found out that not so long back she held a knife to a blokes throat…charming women Shocked

Well, OK then. Might as well have a pop at it, there's always a first time for it to work.

Is there any chance that you can get there yourself for the kick off? Any other non-pikey neighbours who fancy weighing in with statements against Pikey McMental - note: not for you, it has to be made into an issue about her behaviour. Do you know or can you find out if it has had any contact with social services and get them involved? Maybe gone off its meds?

Be as reasonable as possible, say that you want to get this resolved amicably before it escalates, keep mentioning your concern for both your kids and its brood, and ask about mediation - the pikey won't do it, but it's the first step on getting it moved on to ruin a different street.

Me, personally though? I'd put the For Sale sign up. Best case, it'll be months of escalating grief before the pikey gets moved, the system is set up to help it, not you. Sad

All that said... gear on, sit, start, go. You're not doing your bike any favours leaving it to warm up at idle, and it is (technically) an offence to do so.

Don't approach them face to face, chances are thee will be a lot more.

Call the police tell them the situation.

Try not to make " noise " and see how it goes !

Start it up outside her house EARLY and pin the throttle back. Then when she comes outside to give you a gob full, ride off and laugh.

Repeat every day.
