I could of had a 600 but there's more temptation to go fast plus the insurance is a little higher and the tax, and the crazy 250 versions ar £20 less to insure so I picked the best 'all rounder' to meet my needs.
I think im going to have fun of this bike as it's so clean and dosn't look as if it has been messed with at all. The previous owner told me he was using it with the later swing arm and forks but put it back to standard (maybe for the future).
I have accually forked out for this bike (well the most expencive) as opposed to getting a cheap one and doing it up and I must say I think I have done well. Glad I picked this one..
EDIT... for Moppy

Corr. Im sure that motor was based on the old XJ600 lump? The filter housing looks familiar! If so, you'll do well to kill it.

Splurge
MattJ has the 600 in rather tasty colours too, but his lights aren't quite so round. Still a lovely bike mind.
I want a new bike >_> |

Cheers moppy. I love those round headlights too.
That bike is in such good condition. My 600R has done about 24k miles I think and it's in way worse condition cosmetically than that. Can't believe how clean and rust-free the bike is above the back wheel, my subframe is pretty much all brown . Obviously a well looked after bike if it still has the original exhaust on it.
Looks like you got a good bike there, enjoy it. |

You see "Deltabox" sticks on a lot of Yamahas, even fairly recent R1s IIRC. Got it on my FZR, no idea what it means |
