Changed the pads on the front brakes and noticed they were rubbing afterwards. They did rub slightly beforehand but now its worse.

Stripped them back down tonight and cleaned the pistons as well as I could but after putting it back together its still the same....any ideas?

Otherwise the next step is taking it to a pro

Is it a slight rubbing, sort of during a bedding in period. Or a stopping you speeding up much sort of rubbing?

Have you noticed how the pistons are behaving, one isn't seized up for example? Cold you push them back ok to get the new pads in?

Not rubbing so much that it affected the ride, but I've only done one ride to work since changing them. Can still push the bike around the garage and it's hard to tell if there's any more resistance than before.

I did notice a noise while riding that wasn't there before and assume it's because the pads are now rubbing a bit more than they have been.

After cleaning the pistons I could push them all back in by hand apart from one but it soon shifted and was clean as a whistle.

Easy way to tell if they're binding, go for a ride and when you get back see if the discs/calipers are hot. Numpty mechanic fitted some pads a bit squiffy one time, my brakes felt sharp as a sharp thing the whole way home. Poked the caliper with a gloved finger once off the bike, and it made my glove smoke Shocked

Ffs don't burn yourself if you try this Laughing

Iif they are binding, what can I do to sort it. If the calipers need rebuilding thats beyond me.
