Im sure its been asked before, but was just wondering if anyone can recommend a cheap and reliable carb sync tool?
I think my bike is running well, but if they arent too expensive i wouldnt mind any old excuse to learn how to adjust the carbs, and maybe improve fuel economy while im at it.
Its a v twin.

This is just an idea but if you get a long piece of tubing, maybe 7ft and put some sort of fluid you can easily see in it, maybe 2ft worth of fluid and make sure this fluid is sitting in the centre, maybe hang it in a U shape for a while then hook each end up to the corresponding carb. If one is "sucking" more than the other, the fluid will move towards it and you could balance it that way.

I have never tried this, I am just thinking off the top of my head here. Theoretically it should work.

It's called a manometer and yes, it does work. In fact, it works VERY accurately.

More accurately than gauges because even the slightest of uneven pressures and it would move.

I use a home made job and its ace. I made a set for the four carbs and it cost just under £5 for the parts needed.
