Stumped! Cg125 won't rev/mid range stutter

This is doing my head in, I can make a bike do the 1/4 mile in 7.3s but I can't get this damn thing to rev properly. Get up to about 30mph and it just won't rev, bucking me around.

It started with it used to stall at idle all the time so I put a new battery on it, didn't solve it. But I lived with it.

Then I changed the oil, cleaned the gauzes and adjusted the valve clearances. The exhaust valve had no gap. Sweet job done. Since then it wouldn't rev.

I checked the points gap, its fine and looks fairly new. cleaned the air filter, no change. Even tried it with no air filter, no change.

The cheap chinese copy carb then started over flowing so I fucked that off for a second hand oem one. Cleaned all the jets etc before fitting. Still no change.

It now idles fine but still won't rev. I doesn't seem to matter what I do nothing changes.

Anyone got any ideas of what to do next?
I cannot get defeated by a £400 125cc bike!!!

Sounds like a Coil issue, however when you
Did work to the carb you may have altered the float height without knowing, check that and give carb a good clean !

Sorry forgot to add that, it's also had a new plug and coil.

Carb has also been cleaned. The float is plastic so the height can't be changed.

Something has changed! It revs. After another run and good long warm up it's lacking power and has got a mid range stutter. If I come on the throttle really slowly it won't stutter as much.
