i know first hand how retarded the police are.

april 16th 2006:

i was arrested for £2m worth of cannabis being farmed in an industrial warehouse at whitehall road industrial estate in thanet.

why?

because i have the same first and last name as my old man who was working there.

after this i moved back up north for a while because my old man fled the country (asshole) and couldnt afford the £750pcm + bills on the bungalow (i was 18/19 and staying at my dads for a bit)

margate police sent a car all the way up to huddersfield to "pick me up" and "bring me back" which they did.

they asked me 3 questions, put me in a cell for the night and released me the next day. (by this point my solicitor is getting annoyed) they issue a train warrant ticket thing for me to return up north.

3 weeks later my mum and nan are up north visiting for a holiday which is called short because i get a phone call "get back down here or we'll arrest you for perverting the course of justice" so my mum and nan dive me down. during the car drive some ass crashes in to my nans car.

then when we FINALLY get back down, the officer in charge who wanted to question me "has gone on holiday"

solicitor: "at this point i must advise you that you should be seeking legal action against margate police for multiple grounds"

it was a long month and a bit and i didnt want to drag it out. so i left it.

nan claimed back the damages to the car from them though (and damn right)

after a few days thought i decided to put in a large complaint. never really heard back over it.

so yes, THATS how incompetent certain police are. they waste money and resources, dont follow through and generally take the job to cause more annoyance than good.

someone said "the proof of crime prevention isnt in police arresting people, its in police not being seen" or some shit to that extent. if that was true and crime rates really are down, why the HELL arent they out there patrolling and a more common sight?

ohhh thats cause they're all doing paperwork on the crimes that "arent being commited" or are screwing up other peoples plans!

um i should say, i didnt actually have anything to do with the cannabis farm lol.

twice i heard this report on the radio today and both times i burst out laughing .there now apparently calling for his resignation . for calling someone a pleb !!!! maybe i did not get the full report but according to bbc1 he used foul dark evil voodoo words from the depths of hell that cast the police officers into an eternity of pain .

I'm on the side of the jobsworth tosser. Although I agree he should have arrested the bloke on the spot, rules are rules. Why should the copper be in a position where he has to selectively enforce policies, depending on the seniority of the transgressor? It's also ironic that these policies likely come from politicians under Mitchell's whip, and people like him.

Like the bank fraud we're all paying for, I'd like the police to be investigating that and locking up those responsible. Double standards are bad for everyone.

I'd say a baton in the spokes of his front wheel would have him dismounted quick sharp, and a plebian size 11 boot across the throat might remind him he's a public servant and to have some respect for those protecting his sorry arse.

The bit that concerns me greatly is David Cameron saying that "..the police should always be respected, especially in the light of two heroes getting killed." Sorry, but FUUUUCCKKK OFFFFF!!!!!

I'm reaching a bit here, but it seems to me that the gubbermint has pandered to the great unwashed for a couple of days by lambasting the South yorkshire police over the two-decades-old Hillsborough affair, but when it comes to the police-of-the-moment it's a definite case of "Do as you're told, and mind how you go, Sir".
