this could possibly be a kink in the throttle cable, have you straightened the cable again?, and does the engine tick over normally. as you may have knocked the carb(s) a bit. it might just need a bit of a gentle knock;)

Hi

Would expect a throttle cable being damaged could be felt, and should not affect throttle response (just how hard you have to pull the throttle).

Possible you have damaged the engine. Electrics often either work or don't. I would hope that it would be carb related. Might be worth taking the carb off and apart and checking it out to make sure nothing is dislodged.

All the best

Keith

Hi

The floats move in the float chamber. They should not really rattle although you should hear them move. Also the bits you need to clean out are the jets and they are got to by taking off the float chamber (single 14mm headed bolt).

All the best

Keith

Hi

The pilot jet is on the side of the carb, either towards the front or back depending on if it is a air screw or mixture screw.
