i have a flooding problem it was worse , stalling the engine and when i did get it going it was flaming out of the exhaust.

i noticed the choke was very very stiff and was jammed on so ive freed that up and is better.

i rode it to work today and its still flooding, not as bad but it is a problem still. Any hints/tips would be great from you guys.

i did noticed that when i turn the choke off i can still push the choke plunger/bar/brass bar into the carb a little with my finger, should it be going all the way in via the lever and fuel is getting past?? i have used the adjusters on choke cable and idle speed has been tinkered with but no use at all.

thanks in advance for all your help

Pull choke out and well grease the bar. You cable may be badly adjusted also. Fuel/air mixer screw could be wrong setting. Has the bike been like this a while?

no mate, it happened the other night all of a sudden. i have freed it up but im tempted to take the bar off and give it a really good rub down when i get time. would you know if there is a spring that pulls the plunger bar into the carbs once the cable is not pulling on the bar?

If teh cable version is the same as a pull knob choke then yes. You will have four and held in place with a small circlip.
