Im looking for a tool to tighten my grub screw up or the name of it theres a certain tool for the rs125 any help be good

what screw/bolt is it your trying to tighten exactly?

grub screw usually requires an allen key.

The grub screw has a 10mm nut on a Allen key but you have to hold the Allen key and tighten the nut it keeps coming loose iv tried everything iv searched the net just can't find one and I'm not 100% its a 10mm its pissing me off unreliable atm lol please somebody must know

Il try getting a pic ASAP itson the clutch case it's the grub screw on the clutch lever arm that pushes the pressure plate to release the plates and change gear

i assume you mean the screw that's behind the plastic cover in the centre of the case covering the clutch? the screw itself is turned using a flat blade screwdriver, you need to loosen the nut around it first though, you then need to adjust the grub screw to get the clutch set how you want it then manage to hold the grub screw still while tightening up the screw around it. aprilia use a special hollow spanner for the job can't remember how i did it a couple of weeks ago but it wasn't anything fancy, i either used a swan next spanner or loosened the nut, put a socket over the nut held the nut with that by hand then and put a screwdriver through the socket to adjust the grub screw

It's a Allen key through the. Middle I did that iv adjusted these many times but iv lost my tool that's the main reason I want another there not expensive and a good tool to have I have no problem on how to actually adjust it but yes that's the exact place it is!

the part number for the tool is 276 040 an aprilia dealer is probably your best bet
