Given that Tesco are the only insurers in the UK I think you're now legally required to have the bike crushed?

Insurers can be quite stupid at times.

I had one company increase my quote from £280 to over £8000 for modifying my bike with an alarm.

I can afford to insure it..

I just refuse to pay £600+ for the sake of waiting a few days..

besides i can afford to insure your r1.

But I can afford to insure my R1 - I just would prefer not to as I dont think its worth it. Oh and I call bullshit on your insurance quote for the R1. Pics or GTFO.

P.S You are still the spotty little crack head gimp that was at the bbq Thumbs Up

buys bike to be cool, can't afford to insure, still jewish.

Yeah that sums you right up Shereen, you bought an R1 in attempt to be cool whilst sporting some sort of faggotry hair cut that not even Pat Sharp would entertain circa 1985, you then can't afford to insure it and bitch about not being able to insurance, then be a complete Jew by trying to modify it into something it isn't.

You then have a go at Dumball for not having a sports bike and not being able to afford a sportsbike, even though he has a sportsbike, and you can't afford to insure your sportsbike.

Dumball then gets a silly refusal for a quote and you try and attempt to take some sort of high ground as you believe you have somehow won something.

You're now making an excuse about being poor, sorry you don't want to insure your R1, the bike you really really wanted, to fit in and look cool with, and it was everything you wanted but needed modifying to make it better, but it isn't worth insuring now? Why? Because you're attempting to regain some credibility on this forum for being poor and not being able to insure an R1?
I was going to buy a Ferrari 355.... but it isn't worth it, I think I will stick with something cheap *Jackie Chan Face*

What is actually the matter with you? I mean you think you're "it" you clearly have no fucking clue what you're doing in life or how to conduct yourself

Honestly? Just STFU, both of you.

*awaits the obligatory Shereen "I am more important than you" bullshit, followed by being offered out for a fight*

Bennetts told me they wouldn't insure me on my GPZ600R when I first passed my test until I had owned the bike a year Shocked I asked them to explain how having a bike for a year that I couldn't legaly ride would make me a safer rider? On a plus side they sent me this as a free gift Cool VVVVVVV

Oh pits already laid into you, fair enough.

Stop starting fights, I think shereen's alright IRL, she's quite an alphafemale, but there's no need to lay into dumball every chance you get, it just makes you come across as a cunt, noones laughing with you and you're just invoking people to flame you back Karma

To be fair I have kept my nose out of the whole Shereen mess, but she has now turned into a bickering little girl having a paddy or trying to insult people.

Granted dumball has done more to provoke the situation but fuck sake, shut the fuck up.

Wow - Sticking up for your boyfriend or is it your period week? Laughing

What the fuck is wrong with YOU? You know fuck all about me so how can you spout shit as shown above? I get nothing but abuse and grief from Hahadumbarse and the minute I have a moan at him, I become the one in the wrong? Get off your high horse and see the bigger FUCKING picture. Look and the thread about the R1 BEFORE chatting shit in this one.

I will explain for those who are too stupid to understand.

Buys an R1 VERY cheap - I had no definite plans with regards to what I was doing with it.

Decide I would make it my commuter bike with straight bars because of a back condition - Insurance is excessive and not worth paying for a COMMUTER bike!

END OF STORY

There was nothing more to it - but BCF decide there is - now im trying to be 'cool' and buy bikes that will 'impress' the boys. Laughing Get over yourselves - you clearly think you are above everyone else if you think that. There is no one on this forum that I feel the need to impress, and if you knew anything about me you would know that im not like that. Oh and my gay haircut? I'm an individual and proud of that - not a sheep that follows all the other sheep. Thumbs Up

If I remember correctly, a CBR 600 RR is a sports middleweight. Above 1000 is a 'super' sports.

Any my CBR 600 F is a 'Sports' Tourer.

*yawn*

U MAD?
Nowt wrong with me, lots wrong with you though.

Not sticking up for dumball, hence my last post.

Problem is you were having a moan like an autistic 5 year old about something unrelated to your insurance woes, dumball got declined insurance because of an accident, but can afford it.....You just can't afford it.

Not sure why you're trying to twist your story around though, I mean you had GSXR which gave you back pain or something stupid, then went out and bought another sports bike, that's just retarded.

You then wanted to turn an R1 into a commuter and bastardise it.

Lets go back and look at that thread shall we

shereen wrote:
I thought I would make some sort of effort with the R1 so I called up my insurance to get a quote. Now I wasnt expecting the best quote seeing that im 24 but as I have now sold the GSXR I thought I would transfer the insurance onto the R1 to keep the no claims running IF the quote was reasonable.

So you didn't try and insure it for commuting, that is utter shit, you wanted to keep no claims going

shereen wrote:

Im with Axa, insured via Bennetts and they said they would only insure persons on the bike if they are over 30. Shocked I know lot of insurers wont insure on higher powered bikes if under 25 but I though 30 was a bit extreme? So anyway, a word of warning if you are insured with Axa, under 30 and looking to buy an R1 Laughing

No one wants to insure you there, but bear in mind this clearly isn't for commuting, because you just wanted to keep NCD running

shereen wrote:

Alternatively I can work on the R1 in the garden until I hit 25 on the 20th November and get quotes then, im under the impression my insurance should drop a fair bit at that age.

So again not for commuting, as you were going to work on it, and were happy to work on it for a fairly long time without riding it, but it is a commuter? How are you going to get to work without commuting on the bike.

Original plan for bike
shereen wrote:

I will explain again about the R1, I purchased it because it was very cheap, I had intentions of selling it for profit and buying something else,

You then have some sort of autistic outburst about how dumball is like you by buying a bike and not being able to afford to insure it.

I am not sticking up for dumball, I think he brought this on himself, but christ you're just as annoying as dumball, as for period week? I don't leak and drip fluids like you Mr. Green Thumbs Up
