Just had a letter though my door saying Carol Nash offer this DNA+ protection for motorbikes when you take out a policy with them,
didnt really know what it was looked it up and i quite cant figger out if it would work or not, its almost like a paste of micro chips you place around your bike each one is unique to you so if you bike get stolen can easily tell its yours,
more info here (ive not read it all yet)

when i come to renew i will be asking for it why not eh ? ____________________ owned bikes: DR50, Thumpsta 110 , Honda CR85, Speedfight 100, Yamaha XT125X, Honda CRF450, Honda Hornet '07

This assumes they actually recover the bike/parts of bike.
Get a Datatag if you want the same thing without going with Carole Nash. ____________________ My Flickr |

Print up some stickers and slap them on your bike to have the same deterrent effect (none).
By the time a stolen and recovered bike is identified that way, it'll more likely be owned by the insurer than by you. That's why it's in their interests to do this. ____________________ Biking is 1/20th as dangerous as horse riding.
