Just had this delivered today, one of the first in the country. I realise it's a bit of a novelty and not the most practical helmet but the visibility is good and the LEDs can be turned on/off.

Probably more suited to shows and stunting but still Cool

I have to admit, I have no idea why you would wish to possess such a thing.

Different strokes and all that, I suppose.

I'm a massive geek though Laughing

I already own another airbrushed helmet, this one was just a must have when I saw it.

They're made in Russia, there's only 1 UK distributor who's only just started doing it.

https://www.graf-x.co.uk - Paul Dalloway is the man, extremely talented guy Thumbs Up

It's based on the IXS 540 helmet under all that.

That model cost me £665 delivered.

You can do all sorts of extras, like full carbon fibre shell, carbon fibre tips on the dreads ( there's 22 dreads on it ), real lasers instead of LEDs, the teeth version with the predator fangs and top level air brushing.

£599 is for the matt black base model. Mine has just been gloss blacked, didn't want any air brushing on this one.

Arrived too late to go out, was dark and pissing down. Will try it out tomorrow though.

It's fully vented inside as well, the vents built in to the shell and there's holes around the back as well for it. I was wearing it for about 10 minutes inside the house to see what it was like for fogging up and it was fine.

Also came with a clear visor as well.

Surely the dreads are going to flap in the wind and get massively annoying?

Yes it made me smile Thumbs Up but I think that if I saw that out on the road I would probably be thinking "saddo" Eh? .

As you said, possibly good for shows and the like.

I`ll bet you a pound to a pinch of poo that if plod see you out in that and realise what they have seen, they will give you a tug.
You may possibly not be breaking any laws, I dont know, but I still bet they will give you a pull.
I have been to a rally and plod were giving people a tug and "having a word" for having stick-on ears on thier bash-hats?

Exactly why I didn't order the carbon fibre tips on the end of them. Put it into perspective, this isn't a lid you're going to be doing 100mph + in.
